Polycount noob challenge for december

working on the noob challenge on polycount.  Thought it would be a good challenge for doing a lot of little tech bits.  Starting to dive deeper into lighting and materials also.  Still needs some work but it's getting close.

gonna be another fast environment study

gonna paint the terrain, add a cool dead tree, some weeds, and a crashed spaceship


made this with 3 rock sculpts.  Each rock took about 5 minutes to make.  I then painted them on a plane in max.  This will be used to blend with the larger rocks
